When He’s Silent…

If only we would trust His silence and not give up on Him when we don’t hear from Him…

If only we would remain unshaken in our confidence in His ability to deliver us when it seems all hope is lost;

If only we would remain quiet in patience instead of raising an accusatory voice at Him for having abandoned us at our greatest point of need;

If only we would remain faithful to Him even when it seems He seems far away;

We would know God works best in silence;

In the midst of the chaos in our lives, He untangles us from the web of the enemy in silence;

In the end, His works speak for Him;

Instead of groaning and asking why He is so silent about your situation;

You should start praising and thanking Him in advance for the surprise package He has in store for you;

Working behind the scenes is God’s specialty;

Giving unbelievable surprises and leaving one breathless in awe is what makes Him amazing in every way;

When God speaks, it is to instruct you and assure you of what He is going to do;

When He doesn’t, He expects you to know that He is not idle and that He’s working actively on your part;

You may not see it now but when He’s done, you would be wondering why you bothered drowning yourself in worry.

Can be frustrating when all you hear is silence when what you need to hear is His voice;

But silence is His language too; telling you to be still because He’s got you.

With man, silence could mean turning one’s back to you;

But with God, it means He’s at work.

    A thought too:

    The Lord before Pilate was asked: ‘what is truth?’ and the governor was amazed at the Lord’s SILENCE.

    Imagine, He who is the Truth, answering nothing. Oh the depth of scripture.

    Silence can be golden, yes?
