Think Thank Challenge

Hi there!

I came across this challenge on Dainty M blog which I found unique and inspiring. It’s basically a gratitude checklist from A to Z of things in your life. It’s supposed to be a list of things using an alphabet per post but since I discovered it late, I thought I’d just put it all together in one post.

So here we go!

There are lots of things I’m thankful to God for this year which include the following:

Ability to fulfil my commitments at work, church and personal writing goals.

Body, boss, books. Thank God for molding me the way I am; for the wonderful boss He has provided to train me and great books to read every day!

Country, church, career. I’m grateful for my beautiful Ghana; for the wonderful community of believers I’ve found myself in which constantly inspires me to draw closer to God as well as the career path God is preparing me for.

Dreams. I’ve had this dream to work on film projects since I was a little girl and I’m thankful that this dream has been kept alive all these years up to now. I know it will be a reality very soon.

Experience, energy. I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve been privileged to have and learn from. I like the woman it’s shaping me to become. Also thankful for the energy to move around and write!

Family, friends, fruits, favor. I’m extremely grateful for blessing me with a loving family both biological and quasi-foster, as well as great friends who have also become like family. God has blessed our land with abundant fruits throughout the year and I’m glad for the refreshment. Also thankful for the favor He has bestowed on me from my boss, peers and people around me.

God – I thank God for being God. If He wasn’t, where would I be?

Health, hope – I’m thankful for sustaining my health throughout the year. Battled with cold and cough for a while but He healed me. I’m also grateful for helping me keep hope alive when things got tough.

Identity, image, ideas, imagination – I’m grateful for the privilege to bear the identity as a child of God; to be created in the image of none other but God Himself. I’m grateful for the ideas He constantly supplies me with and the power of imagination to create stories.

Job – I’m thankful for my job. Since I was little, I had always prayed for a writing job and God proved to me that He hears me when I speak.

Kids – I’m grateful for the kids He has granted my friends and how they remind me of how I should relate to my Heavenly Father;

Life, love – I’m ever grateful for the gift of life. Most people younger and even brighter have exited the world already but He continues to grant me new days to keep living. Also thankful for the gift of love from family and friends and also teaching me how to love people the God way.

Meals, money, music – Thank God for providing me with daily meals; that I don’t choke on them even when I’m rushing through them. Thank God for the ability to earn money so I don’t have to live off others. I thank God for the gift of music which soothes my soul regardless of life’s circumstances.

Nature – God continues to inspire me with all the greens and creatures He made.

Opportunity – for the doors of opportunity he keeps opening for me, I’m thankful.

Parents, peace – for giving me the best parents to raise me into who I am today. I’m thankful for the peace of mind and soul I wake up each day with knowing that no matter what, God’s got me.

Quality – I’m thankful for the quality of life He has blessed me with; with health, family, friends, everything!

Reason – for the ability to reason and remained self-controlled during stressful situations.

Sanity, smoothie, shelter – Thank God for keeping my mind sane day in day out; thank God for smoothies (very important) and shelter to keep me safe.

Teachers, talent – Grateful for the teachers who trained me to become who I am today. Also grateful for talents I’m yet to discover.

Understanding – the Word of God I read each day and grace to apply lessons into my daily life.

Voice – I can speak, I can sing, I can laugh…I’m thankful!

Wisdom, writing – For granting me wisdom to deal with tricky situations, I’m thankful. Ever grateful to be able to write this!

eXpectations – thankful for keeping my expectations active; God keeps surprising me.

Youth – Spending my youth in God has been an amazing ride so far. I’m glad I chose to ride with God.

Zeal – I’m thankful for the renewed zeal to serve God in whatever capacity I can, wherever I find myself.

Yay! I honestly enjoyed putting this together because it helped me count my blessings. What are you thankful for? Kindly share and thanks for reading.
