Your Life as a Collage: What Does It Look Like?

#DailyPost

We are a collage of memories

A collection of experiences

Each day making a piece of the whole picture

Every happy day making for a brightly colored paper

And every sullen day for a dull colored piece

A work in progress may appear crooked, haphazard and ugly

To the one looking from a distance

But the Artist already has the full picture in mind

And no matter how hard he tries to explain it

It would never make sense

So the Artist would prefer to keep quiet

And let the process do the talking

Just because a phase of our lives is frustrating, gloomy and hurtful

Doesn’t mean it will be the same throughout

Chaque chose en son temps

Brighter days are coming

And guess what, a dramatic mix of both is what makes life worth it

Forming a collage of breathtaking beauty

Out of the dark skies the sun shines forth

Don’t give up when you are in the dark phase

Your sun is coming out soon

Through the roller coaster ride of life

Remember, each experience is needed to make

The collage of your life, a story worth telling and learning from

So don’t make a permanent decision based on a temporary situation

This too shall pass, is what you should tell yourself to get through the moments

The Artist is a an expert at creating masterpieces

He takes the broken, rotten and useless pieces

And creates something spanking new

Just as too much summer would melt us away

And too much winter would freeze us to stone

But each can be enjoyed within a period following each other

Take the good and bad days in good stride

Knowing that together, they make a beautiful you.

Are you drawing your own collage?

Or have you left the brush in the hand of the Artist

To do what he does best- Make a masterpiece out of you?

Very true. Just as there is a season for everything and the likes of things around us. We have summer, winter…. as well as dry and wet seasons. So do we have seasons for food crops too. Therefore there is time for everything; a time to cry, to be sad as well happy, fulfilled, peaceful……. We should depend on God to help us through this life. But we shouldn’t forget hard work and perseverance. Thanks Jo for the nice piece.
