It’s About  Time for Some Life Rearrangement

We all get to that point where it becomes necessary;

For us to rearrange our stuff;

No matter how orderly we keep our things;

Carefully pull out and replace them;

After sometime, they get messed up again;

Thus the need to reorganize.

We find things we thought were missing;

When we take time to rearrange;

We see the things we no longer need;

And pull them out of the lot;

We find out things we need but don’t have;

And decide to get them ASAP;

The longer we put our rearrangements on hold;

The clumsier our closets become;

And the more time it takes to get it done;

Things begin to ‘feel’ missing in the clutter;

A common search for an item becomes a tiresome chore;

Procrastination begets procrastination;

Our lives are like closets;

People walk into them and out of them all the time;

Some enter stealthily and leave dramatically;

Shaking us up from the core and leaving us ‘dismantled’;

Moving on without ‘rearranging’ ourselves;

Could be a recipe for an inevitable breakdown;

Denying that we are not okay;

After an emotional trauma only hurts us the more;

It is okay not to be okay;

But choosing to stay that way is not;

We all need that alone time;

To evaluate ourselves and make the necessary changes;

New decisions would have to be made;

New actions need to be taken;

The people to avoid and those to keep close;

Those to forgive and forget;

Rearrange your priorities to discover the new you;

You’d be surprised how much better you’d like yourself.

    Such truth here! I have had to rearrange my perspective so many times as different people and circumstances trigger reactions and cause pain that I thought was long buried. We are works in progress, that’s for sure!

  2. So right. Cleaning house and starting right at home (beginning with self). It’s about timely holding a meeting with ourselves
