#Daily Post

Being a tourist must be fun;

Taking pleasure in a-visiting;

Nature’s beauties in admiration;

Interacting with the animals;

Feeding and taking selfies with them;

And then going back home;

To share the amazing experience;

With family and friends;

Not everyone gets the chance;

Of experiencing the tourist’s pleasure;

And not every animal;

Be it cute or hideous looking;

Receives delightful human attention;

I wonder if the animals;

Inhabiting such vantage points;

Feel appreciated for the attention;

Or feel exploited;

For being used;

As a pleasure tool;

And then left behind;

Our lives are tourist sites;

For others to come and observe;

We become tourists;

Invading the lives of others as well;

Some ‘visits’ are brief and not that influential;

Others leave a lasting impression;

In both good ways and bad;

What kind of tourist

Would you rather be?

The type who comes around;

Raise hopes and arouses emotions;

Of taking the next step;

And then backing away suddenly;

Leaving the other;

Feeling exposed and exploited;

Or would you be;

The one who takes a look around;

Makes up his mind about what he wants;

And then goes for his heart desire;

Without playing games;

Nature knows she’s beautiful;

She doesn’t need tourists

 To tell her so;

She must appreciate the attention;

But doesn’t devalue herself;

When the numbers decline;

Because she knows;

No matter how long they stay;

They would definitely walk away;

But she keeps working on herself;

To remain charmingly beautiful;

Not just for tourists’ attention;

But for her own sake.

Likewise, appreciate who you are;

Regardless of who and how many tell you;

How amazing you are;

It would feel good;

But remember, not everyone around;

Is going to stay in your life forever;

Some are merely tourists;

Sightseeing your life;

To teach you lessons;

 And learn some themselves;

In the end;

Make it a point;

To be a tourist site worth seeing;

And also a tourist

Everyone would love

To have her presence grace their sites;

Appreciate not exploit;

Leave a good lasting impression;

And not be referred to;

As good riddance to bad rubbish.
