We most often appreciate the collection;
And ignore the single components;
We admire the seashore;
And find the sand beneath our feet comforting;
But disregard the grain of sand in our shoe;
There’s nothing as refreshing as a glass of water;
But a drop is shaken off;
We enjoy the fruits;
And throw away the seeds;
Forgetting that without seeds
There would be no more fruits;
Without one,
There wouldn’t be a hundred;
As much as we applaud the yield;
Let’s appreciate what makes up the bigger picture;
As one grain of rice can’t be cooked and eaten;
But it takes one grain to produce countless other grains;
Let’s respect the parts of the whole;
No single grain is insignificant;
A drop of water may seem harmless;
But an ocean is no simple force to reckon with;
A force made up of countless ‘harmless’ drops of water;
See every day, every challenge;
Every person, every opportunity;
Every mistake, every counsel;
Every tease, every experience;
Every fear, every thought;
Every joy and pain
Every tear and laughter;
As grains not to be discounted;
But to be appreciated in its fullest capacity;
Because they make up what you are.
