Generations come and go;

Some stand out in history;

Others are forgotten even before they are gone;

Some made an impact;

Others just joined the flow;

Some lived;

Others merely existed.

Generations come and go;

Some lived out their years peacefully;

Others wiped out by war and disaster;

Some aged gracefully;

Others had their lifespan cut short by ailments;

Some lived by green pastures and still waters;

Others in wilderness and on deserts.

Some believe this generation is the best time to live so far;

Others think it’s the worst;

Technology might have made life easier now;

And moral decadence might be at its peak;

Has its comforts and irritations;

But like a coin with both sides;

One has to learn to live with both;

I don’t regret being a part of this generation;

Not because life is any easier now;

But because I believe I’m relevant now;

I choose to stand out among the lot;

At the end of my race,

Generations should call me ‘one-of-a-kind’.
