Lift Up In Love

Lend someone your hand and shoulder..

Have you ever being at that critical point when you’re just about to give up and a blink later, there your help appears…
How comforting it is to find someone at your side when you’re so weak to lift yourself up;
Someone to listen to you pour heart out and tell you everything will be okay;
To stay by your side whiles you cry and wait till you’re ready to get up again;
And carries you till you’re ready to walk again;

Can you be the one whose heart is big enough to love without reservations?
To stoop down to give a helping hand to the one who has just fallen?
To nurse his wounds and carry him till he is strong to walk again?
Will you be the Good Samaritan of our time?
And love your neighbor whoever he might be?

We are blessed to have met the Greatest Lover of all;
Who welcomes all into His embrace no matter how great the fall;
It is up to us to make others hear His call;
So He would tear down the wall;
Which keeps them bound and down;

Invest in someone’s life today…

Help lift someone up the same way He lifted us up each and every time we fell;
Show someone love just as He embraced us in love when we felt most worthless;
Be there for someone at his greatest point of need just as He always is for you;
The best way we can do this is to love;

Love is all we need to touch a soul, heal a heart and change a heart.

He lifted us from our bondage with His love;
So must we help our brethren stand by letting them know they are also worthy of love.
