Lay It Down

From life’s first cry to one’s final breath, challenges are common to everyone. Everyone gets his or heart broken at one point in time or the other; we encounter some financial challenges; and we all get to that crossroad in life where we are not sure which turn to take.

Many scholars have tried to ease people’s headaches by providing countless motivational books about ‘The keys to a successful life, or financial breakthrough or how to identify the right life partner.’ Such books are helpful to reset our minds to think positively.

But this week, I would love to recommend the surest way to deal with whatever situation you may be facing. It is about time we realized we cannot solve all life problems by ourselves and that from time to time, we need to turn to our Creator for help.

Any time we feel overwhelmed by problems ranging from marital issues to job difficulties or academic struggles, all we need to do is to lay it down at the feet of Jesus and trust Him to take over. And when He does it, there is no residue effect to give us any extra burden.

This doesn’t mean we should be apathetic to our ‘down’ situations in life. We should do our part and leave the rest to our Sustainer of life. Don’t waste your time worrying because it doesn’t help in any way. God’s got it (if only you would lay it down for Him).

So whatever it may be, if you are job or spouse hunting or seeking some healing miracle or some restoration in some broken relationship you may be involved in, know that nothing is impossible for our God to fix. He’s the Best friend and the most Dependable Provider and Reliable Protector you can ever have.

Enjoy your week believing that God is taking great care of you and is answering all of your urgent prayers.
