Blessed with grace;
Being granted with unlimited and mostly undeserved favor;
Bestowed with mercy;
Being pardoned for an offense requiring due sanction;
Grace and peace be unto you…
This is one blessing we often take lightly but carries more power than we think. We are who and where we are right now because of Grace. As my pastor quoted,
God is the source of Grace;
Jesus is the Grace of God;
So to have grace is to have Jesus. How awesome!
We sometimes falter which calls out dire consequences but on our behalf, Mercy says NO! Mercy unceasingly pleads for us, believing we can be redeemed.
We live in a world where people with the most fluid connections get to survive with their heads above the water. The right way belongs to those without links who hope someone on the high seat would have pity on them. That is why the Grace of God is indisputably indispensable in our lives. God makes His Grace to abound so that the world would know that He’s the only one who can make a masterpiece out of trash.
We are all testimonies of God tampering judgment with mercy. Most of us would not be where we are if God’s Mercy hadn’t intervened. We went to hospitals with others; we came out fine, others didn’t. We stepped out together and crossed the roads but some never got to the other side. What happened, Mercy did.
So next time someone blesses you with Grace and Mercy, don’t forget to bless him back and receive it with joyous faith!
