Peace in the midst of Chaos

Peace and serenity is every heart’s wish, isn’t it?

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away but I say a date with God each day keeps the gates the hell away.

We live in a world where everything is going so super-fast that we sometimes get lost in the craze. We are all in the rush to be abreast with the happenings in the world- we want to do everything but end up doing nothing.

So much noise everywhere-car horns honking, airplanes taking off and landing, trains speeding by, people shouting, dogs barking….is there tranquility anywhere? Where and how do we find peace in a world of chaos?
How you start your day determines to a large extent how well your day will go. As it is said, breakfast is the most important meal of the day; so is your quiet time.

Where else to get it than from the God of peace?

Some quality time to soak in the refreshing Word of God and moments to hear from God and as well as surrender your day to God is a 100% assurance that you’re going to have a great day. It is at this precious time that no matter where you find yourself, in the midst of all the noise and commotion that you will find that utmost perfect peace within yourself because you’d find yourself in the presence of Prince of Peace.

Don’t make excuses for postponing time spent with God. Everything will justify that but understand that you can have a well thought out plan for the day but if God is not the One taking you through it, you’re sure to meet to unexpected struggles throughout.

Let’s make our date with God a top priority without compromise and we’ll find the peace that’s been eluding the world since the fall of man.

So when you open your eyes tomorrow morning, don’t forget to utter a prayer of thanks and surrender to God and see how great your day is going to be!
