The One in the Mirror

Am I who I see in the mirror?

Each morning I stare at who I see in the mirror;
Sometimes she smiles, sometimes she frowns;
One minutes she laughs, the next she cries;
Cheerful today, sad tomorrow;
Why is she so unstable?

She smiles because she believes the day will be best ever;
And sometimes frowns when things don’t go as she expected;
Laughs because God has done something new….again;
And cries when He embarrasses her with overflowing goodness;
Cheerful when the sun greets her with her soft rays;
And sad when the dark clouds gather in the sky;

But through it all, she knows whom she has believed in;
He has never let her down and never will;
So whether the sun shines, wind blows or the lightning strikes;
She knows she’s safe in her Savior’s hands.

Today isn’t the end of the world.

Who is the one you see when you look in the mirror?
A disappointed, frustrated, helpless fellow
Or a hopeful, unshakable in faith being;
Who you see in the mirror is not just who you are right now;
He can be who you hope him to be tomorrow;
All it takes is a word of faith into the life of who you see on the other side;

Faith does not only move mountains;
It can build towers towards the highest heavens;

Just believe…

All you have to do is to believe.

He who has called you will never leave you;
Even when it looks like your boat is capsizing;
Remember what He says to the storm;
Peace be still.
